Content

What is content strategy?

A content strategy is the plan for what content you’ll create, who it’s for, what it should achieve, and how you’ll manage it.

What it means

It defines your audience, the questions you’ll answer, your priority topics, and how you’ll measure success. Unlike a list of content ideas, it explains why those ideas matter and in what order to tackle them.

How to use it

A good strategy also tells you what to say no to. If a content idea can’t be tied to a goal or topic cluster in your strategy, put it on hold.
